RMA is a not-for-profit organization whose members are full-time clinical faculty (physicians with academic appointments) of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) of McMaster University. RMA’s purpose is to provide billing, collection, accounting and business expense payment services to its members in support of the advancement of education and research.
RMA Inc., a for-profit business corporation, is a wholly owned subsidiary of RMA which provides services to part-time, locum and community member physicians on a fee-for-service basis.

This commitment is evident as RMA was initially built and later transformed in partnership with the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) at McMaster University and its clinical departments.
